DD PM e-Vidya 22 MSDE 01 Skill India TV Channel is an important step in the Skill India initiative, a program of the Government of India that aims to create a skilled and new India by enhancing skills at high standards at a faster pace. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implements all skill development efforts across India. It is the world's largest award-based skill development and training scheme by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Skill India certification is recognized by the government and validates your skills and knowledge in a particular trade or skill.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) runs the main programs under this program.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) -
As we know the Hon. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was launched by the Prime Minister on July 15, 2015 for skill training as per the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
In the last year, about 20 lakh youth across India were trained under PMKVY.
PMKVY is also being assessed and certified under an initiative called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Udaan Scheme -
Funded by the Ministry of Home Affairs and implemented by NSDC, UDAN is a Special Industry Initiative (SII) for graduates and post-graduates of Jammu and Kashmir, which has trained over 10,000 candidates till May 2016 and connected them to corporate India. Due to this, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are also contributing to the new India.
Skill India Scheme -
Skill India is another initiative of the Government of India. It was launched on 15 July 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to train more than 40 crore people in various skills in India by 2022. Initiatives also include the National Skill Development Mission, National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, (PMKVY) Scheme, and Skill Loan Scheme.
Other Entrepreneurship -
The five-year (2016-17 to 2020-21) plan was aimed at creating a conducive ecosystem for entrepreneurship. According to 2016 information, at that time 2200 colleges, 300 schools, 500 government ITIs, and 50 Vocational Training Centers (VTCs), Entrepreneurship Resource and Coordination Centers were providing the facility of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Which would have increased many times more than before.
