9 channels will be removed and 2 channels will be shifted.

As you know the 75th e-auction and 76th e-auction of DD Freedish have ended and private TV channels booked slots in MPE-2 and MPEG-4 slots. the new TV channels will come from April 1, 2024. Now with the arrival of new TV channels, some old TV channels will leave DD Freedish.

Channels to be removed from April 1, 2024 -

Dhamaka Movies B4U -

This channel is a TV channel of the B4U network which was launched recently. This channel is a free-to-air TV channel but this channel has not won any slot this year 2024, hence this TV channel will not be seen on DD Freedish from April 1, 2024.

Zee Ganga -

This channel was the only Bhojpuri entertainment TV channel on DD Freedish, which showed Zee TV's popular Hindi TV serials dubbed in Bhojpuri and ran some original shows, including some reality shows. But now this channel may be changed to Zee Anmol 2 and on this channel, you can watch South Indian movies dubbed in Hindi.

Shemaroo Marathibana -

This channel was a Marathi language private TV channel available on DD Freedish. This channel is part of the Shemaroo network but this channel has not won any slot in the e-auction of 2024. It means that this channel will not be available on your DD Freedish from 1st April 2024.

Enter10 Channel -

This channel is owned by Enter10 Television Group, which owns very popular TV channels like Dangal TV, Dangal 2, and Bhojpuri Cinema. Enter10 TV channel has won the slot in both the e-auctions of 2024. It means that this TV channel will not be available on DD Freedish from April 1, 2024.

Zing TV Channel -

This channel is owned by Zee Network which is a pay channel but it is available for free on DD Freedish. this channel has also not been able to win any slot for itself and this channel will not be available on your DD Freedish from April 1, 2024.

MTV Beats -

This channel is a superhit music TV channel of the Viacom18 network. Although it is a pay TV channel but it was available for free on DD Freedish. This channel has also not won any slot for itself i.e. this channel will not be visible on your DD Freedish from 1st April 2024.

Vedic TV Channel -

This channel is a TV channel of Aastha Broadcasting Group which is a free-to-air satellite TV channel. This channel has not booked any slot for itself, hence this TV channel will also not be visible on your DD Freedish platform from April 1, 2024.

Aastha Gujarati -

This channel is also owned by Aastha Broadcasting Group, which is a free-to-air TV channel, earlier this channel was associated with the name of Aastha Tamil on DD Freedish but later it was changed to the name of Aastha Gujarati. This channel has also been unable to book any slot for itself, hence this channel will not be visible on your DD Freedish platform from April 1, 2024.

Swadesh News -

This TV channel is a private Hindi-language news channel for the states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & others. It is a free-to-air TV channel. This channel has also been unable to book any slot for itself in the 2024 e-auction, hence this channel will not be visible on your DD Freedish platform from April 1, 2024.

So here it comes to light that the above-mentioned 9 TV channels will not be shown on DD Freedish from April 1st. But it is possible that if any TV channel is not able to join due to documents or any reason, then the vacant slot can be rebooked by these TV channels on a pro-rata basis.

Changes in some channels -

ABZY COOL -

This TV channel is currently available in MPEG-2 slot but this channel will be shifting to MPEG-4 from April 1, 2024. If you have an MPEG-2 set-top box then you will not be able to watch this channel. You can upgrade your DD Free dish set-top box by buying the latest technology HEVC 10bits FTA HD Set-Top Box.

ABZY Movies -

This TV channel is currently available in an MPEG-2 slot but this channel will also shift to MPEG-4 from April 1, 2024. If you have an MPEG-2 set-top box then you will not be able to watch this channel. You can upgrade your set-top box from SD to HD HEVC Set-Top Box.
