This is the latest update for DD Freedish viewers that Prasar Bharati Invited applications by the 66th online e-auction for the Renewal/Addition of DD Free dish DTH New TV channels on MPEG-4 slots. It is the 5th Online annual e-auction.
This allotment of MPEG-4 slots of DD Freedish will be for the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.
The e-auction will be conducted in accordance with the latest policy guidelines available on Prasar Bharati's official website.
Which channel can be added? -
Only satellite TV channels licensed by the Ministry of I&B would be allowed to participate in the e-auction.
International Public broadcasters licensed by the Ministry of I&B can also participate in this e-auction.

When New Channel will be available on DD Free dish? -
Successful winner channels will be available on DD Free dish MPEG-4 slot after receipt of payment for 1st installment.
Requirement of Satellite Decoder-
Successful 66th e-auction winner channels will be required to arrange their own IRD Box in advance at DTH earth station, Todapur, New Delhi.
Last Date -
The Last date for submission of applications and original Demand Draft is 13 February 2023 by 3:00 PM (Monday).
