Latest Update on 15th August 2023 -
The country's first and country's own channel is now available from 15th August (Independence Day) in a new look and color. Now this channel has changed to new color with its new tagline "Desh ka pehla aur desh ka apna channel" (reality). This rebranding has happened for both Doordarshan HD and Doordarshan SD channels.
Doordarshan National HD channel is available on DD Freedish for free across the country.
