X-Zone channel was launched in DD Free dish in 2018 by Viacom18 Network. Now, this channel rebranded to MTV Beats. The channel also changed its music type, which means now it became Indi Pop and Bollywood Music channel. The channel is available on the platform for a long time, So it became a very popular Hindi music channel.

Earlier it was launched as an X-Zone channel, which was launched as a new English Music Channel from Viacom18 Network. This channel telecasts different types of English kinds of music like Vh1,9XO channels.
