DD Freedish will not re-branded - confirmed.

DD Freedish may re-branded soon after Delhi High Court Direction

Recently Delhi High Court granted a decision in the favor of premium DTH operator "Dish TV" that Prasar Bharati can not use "Dish" word in their free to air DTH service.
Dish TV official also informed to the Court that "Dish" is registered trademark of Dish TV DTH. It should not be used by anyone.
Dish TV informed to the court that it was a big confusion between Dish TV & FREE DTH subscribers so now Prasar Bharti has 3 months to change their DTH new name and inform to the subscribers so as to not cause more confusion.

So within 90 days from High Court order, now DD Freedish subscribers will see the new name of Prasar Bharti DTH service.

We also informed our readers that this blog will also change its name accordingly. We will notify you before moving to the new domain.
DD Freedish may change its name again "DD Direct Plus" but it is not confirmed yet.
