This is a very good update for DD Freedish viewers that now DD Freedish viewers also can view a schedule of their favorite TV channel in one click because DD Freedish now integrated EPG (Electronic Program Guide) on MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 channels.
Currently, EPG is not available on all channels but it may be in the testing phase, soon it will be available on all channels.

An electronic program guide (EPG) is a feature available in almost 95% digital set-top boxes, provide to list of current and scheduled programs that are or will be available on each channel with a short summary or commentary for each program.
How to Check EPG on DD Freedish Channels?
It is very simple if your set-top box is EPG supportable then you can press the "EPG" button from your remote, now you can see the list of programs on each channel.
The EPG will be available only on iCAS box or all FTA boxes?
Don't worry, the EPG will be avaiable for all type set-top box including iCAS Set-Top Box.
But all Set-Top Boxes must have this feature in-built in the software.
