Update - MR TV rebranded as Shemaroo Marathibana TV
DD Freedish already completed its 42ind online e-auction and result decorated. A total of 8 TV channels won the slot. MR TV a Marathi language TV channel also participated in the online e-auction and won the slot. MR TV channel will be available from 01.12.2019 to 29.02.2020 (80 days) in MPEG-2 format.

No Freedom for viewing TV Channels:
ReplyDeleteAll TV channels are upgrading MPEG2 to MPEG4. If any upgrade available they will be do in future. Each every time we should purchase new receiver if they are upgrading to some one. What to do so for the Old receivers?
Private TV channels are not bothering about it only they are encouraging the Cable operators and pvt distributors like DishTV, Sundirect, TATA, Airtel.
The DD direct plus will be upgraded to MPEG4 in earlier. Govt will not give subsidy and no exchange old one for it.
Improving in technology will be help but not make to trouble to a common people.
